Un corps : des personnages

This workshop is intended for young performing artists (theater, dance, mime, puppetry…) from France and Germany, who are interested in mime and are about to embark on a week of research into the isolation of body parts and the narrative possibilities they offer.

The instructors will invite you to explore how different body parts can become independent, become characters and enter into a silent dialogue with each other.

Technical exercises will prepare the trainees to desynchronize the body parts in order to give them a life of their own, and to imagine scenes where they would be the protagonists: a discussion between feet, an argument between backs, a love triangle between hands…

The work sessions, translated between French and German, will alternate with shows invited by the MOMIX Festival, one of the major events of young public theater in France.
