Corps Acteur – Stage de Mime Corporel

This workshop proposes an initiation to the technique through exercises of decomposition of the movement (scales) and some bases on the study of the effort (counterweight), the contradictions, the dynamo-rhythms, the causalities, the displacement of the body in the space and the stylized steps.

From these technical elements, we will analyze the fundamental principles of dramatic movement. We will explore the creative potential that arises from this work of precision, articulation and stylization of movement. Each student will be able to appropriate this new vocabulary by learning figures from the Répertoire d’Étienne Decroux (short sequences of movement composed for the practical study of technical exercises) and by improvisation and creation exercises.
