In 1996 he founded the theater group “Companhia Teatro em Aberto”. All four performances of this group received a total of 14 awards and 25 distinctions.

He was the artistic director of important cultural events in the city of Rio de Janeiro and a teacher of theater history and acting techniques at the Leonardo Alves Theater School in Rio de Janeiro.
He is a member of the Brazilian Cultural Foundation Macunaima.
