Andrés Antonio Santos Urresta (Quito, 1983). Actor and Theater Director.

His stage proposal is based on researching fiction in empty space and the dialogue between the actor and the objects to build a theatrical language in constant amazement, letting the organicity and rhythm of the senses, human organs, materials and solid bodies, be the builders of the dramaturgical, imaginative and creative process of the stage situations.

He has a degree in Acting from the Central University of Ecuador and a diploma in Dramatic Corporal Mime from the Moveo School (Barcelona, Spain). In addition, Master in Physical Theater from the Dimitri Theater Academy (Verscio, Switzerland). He has participated as an artist in residence in Poland, Spain, Ecuador, Colombia and Italy. He co-directs the Ecuatorian Rodez Alhampa theatre company (with Bertha Díaz) based on the relationship between gesture and thought. He is a teacher at UARTES (University of the Arts of Guayaquil, Ecuador).
